First of all you need to learn this profession, you find the Blacksmith trainer here:
Novograd
Nezebgrad
Accept the first quest and buy the Blacksmith's Training Manual (right click to activate it), Apprentice's Portable Forge and Rust Pick
Now open your crafting bag, right click on your Forge
With your first quest you got enough materials to craft till lv6, after lv 6 you won't get anymore crafting exp., so just talk to the npc and finish the quest.
How to get Ore:
You get ore by collecting the golden sparks that you see on the floor, every 10 levels of crafting you will need a different type of ore.
TIP!!!
If you have the Encyclopedia and Black- and Weaponsmith you get DOUBLE ore in most zones
You can find out where to get it by opening the map and use the dropdown list
In my video I pre-farmed all the ore, that makes it much easier and quicker
With lv28 you will need another component:
Chains
Rivets
Spikes
Treadplates
You get those as drops (Craftsman chests) from mobs:
And if you are already max level und never saved those, you can buy them from Cosimo de Pluie in AlRihat
To downgrade those material, you buy from the crafting NPC Vial of Retroform (because by downgrading you get more materials)
